The Workbench is where users ask questions and inspect generated analysis.

Write precise questions

Strong questions usually include:

• The metric you want.
• The time range.
• The entity or segment to compare.
• Any filters that should apply.

Example:

Show monthly revenue by plan for the last 6 months, excluding test accounts.

Refine with follow-ups

Use follow-up questions when the first result is close but not final:

• Change the time grain.
• Add a filter.
• Compare against a previous period.
• Break down a total by segment.

Avoid ambiguous requests

Questions like “How are we doing?” are useful for brainstorming, but they are weak production analytics prompts. Ask for a specific metric or decision instead.
